Last minute jitters

Remember Julia Roberts in the movie Runaway Bride? Ok, so maybe that was a little OTT when it came to the notion of “last minute jitters” (she did jump on a horse), but the very essence of the movie was a person who didn’t know herself until it was almost too late.

Luckily for Julia’s character, she figured herself out and chose to (finally) listen to her heart and flount conventions, pressure (self-inflicted or otherwise) and expectations and fantasies (her own) to marry. It went a little something like this...
