A recovery budget for all

BUDGET 2022 is one which has been labelled as a progressive spending plan when taking in the Environmental, Social and Governance proposals that were contained. Moves to reduce the carbon footprint of Malaysia, have more women directors and have a more inclusive development perspective also won major kudos when dissecting the numerous proposals within Budget 2022.

Budget 2022 has been labelled as the mother of all budgets given the size of it. The record size of RM332.1bil and large commitments towards the economic and social sectors show the emphasis placed on the recovery aspect of the economy from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
