Police crash data can lead to safer roads for all in KL


As the authorities in charge of managing the capital’s road users and congestion, the Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT KL) is able to gather a trove of data on road crashes and fatalities.

The Kuala Lumpur Road Safety Report 2022–2023, the first such report by the police with support from Bloomberg Philanthropies Initiative for Global Road Safety (BIGRS) partner Vital Strategies, aims to contextualise and act on the said data.
