Kazakhstan's exports reach 40.3 bln USD in H1

ALMATY, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- Kazakhstan's exports rose 8.6 percent year on year to 40.3 billion U.S. dollars in the first half of 2026, the country's Ministry of Trade and Integration said Tuesday.

Imports grew 5.4 percent to 31.5 billion dollars, bringing foreign trade turnover to 71.8 billion dollars, the ministry said.

Notably, exports to Türkiye surged 94.3 percent, while shipments to France rose 45.2 percent, those to Uzbekistan increased 39.5 percent, and those to Germany grew by some 10 percent, it said.

Exports of copper and copper products increased 58 percent to 2.84 billion dollars, while exports of copper ores and concentrates rose 43 percent to 2.05 billion dollars, the ministry added.
