NEW YORK, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended higher on Tuesday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 907.47 points, or 1.71 percent, to 54,085.88. The S&P 500 added 136.02 points, or 1.79 percent, to 7,736.52. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 671.10 points, or 2.59 percent, to 26,584.99.
