MOSCOW, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and four others wounded as a result of a shooting in the village of Khmelnitskoye near Russia-controlled city of Sevastopol on the Black Sea, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said Tuesday.
According to Razvozhayev, a serviceman opened fire on his fellow soldiers. As a result, one person was killed and one was wounded. After that, the attacker wounded three more people and killed three civilians, two men aged 71 and 59 and a woman aged 64.
Razvozhayev added that the shooter has been detained, and that all the injured are now receiving necessary medical care. Investigation of the case is ongoing.
