Magnitude 5.5 earthquake hits near coast of central Chile, GFZ says


July ⁠3 (Reuters) - ⁠An earthquake ‌measuring 5.5 magnitude struck ​near ⁠coast of ⁠central Chile ⁠on ‌Friday, ⁠the German ​Research ‌Centre for ⁠Geosciences (GFZ) ​said.

The quake ⁠hit at ​a depth of ⁠10 km (6.21 miles), ​according ⁠to GFZ.
