Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, June 30 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for August delivery dropped to 1.25 U.S. dollars, or 1.77 percent, to settle at 69.50 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for August delivery lost 23 cents, or 0.31 percent, to settle at 72.92 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
