Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, April 29 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for June delivery went up 6.95 U.S. dollars, or 6.95 percent, to settle at 106.88 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for June delivery gained 6.77 dollars, or 6.08 percent, to settle at 118.03 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
