Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, March 23 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices settled lower on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate for May delivery lost 10.1 U.S. dollars, or 10.28 percent, to settle at 88.13 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for May delivery decreased by 12.25 dollars, or 10.92 percent, to settle at 99.94 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
