PSG's Desire Doue wins 2025 Golden Boy award


ROME, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Paris Saint-Germain attacker Desire Doue won the 2025 Golden Boy award, the Turin-based media outlet Tuttosport reported on Tuesday.

Doue, 20, enjoyed a breakout campaign with PSG last season, logging 16 goals and 16 assists in 61 games, including two goals and an assist in PSG's 5-0 Champions League final win over Inter Milan.

Doue beat out a number of nominees including Chelsea's Estevao, Real Madrid's Arda Guler and Arsenal's Myles Lewis-Skelly.

The Golden Boy award is given to under-21 footballer rated the best each year, with Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal winning last year's award. Former winners include Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Wayne Rooney.
