SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Israel-based Mobileye, an Intel company, and United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based Al Habtoor Group (AHG) have announced a strategic collaboration to propel the deployment of autonomous vehicles and mobility services in Dubai, according to a news release from Intel on Wednesday.

The deal between the two companies was made possible by an agreement signed this month to normalize diplomatic ties between Israel and the UAE. It signals long-term cooperation for the deployment of driverless mobility solutions in Dubai based on Mobileye's autonomous vehicle (AV) technology, Intel said.
