VENICE, Italy, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese short film The Pigeon Ring won the Venice Immersive Grand Prize, the top award of the Venice Immersive section, at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival on Saturday.
Directed by Zhang Yuqi and Tao Shixin, the 35-minute work is presented through virtual reality and immersive installations.
The Pigeon Ring was selected for the competition of this year's Venice Immersive section, which featured 30 works from 26 countries and regions.
