Interview: HK finance official says global investors speak positively of national security law, confident in Hong Kong


HONG KONG, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- Global investors largely speak positively of the national security law in Hong Kong and remain confident in the global financial center, said Hui Ching-yu, secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government.

"Social stability is like fertile soil, which can enable the big tree of Hong Kong's financial market to continue to thrive," Hui said when talking about what the law will bring about to Hong Kong.
