Israel's business activity shrinks to lowest level since 2001 due to COVID-19

JERUSALEM, July 27 (Xinhua) -- Israel's business sector activity has significantly contracted in the second quarter of 2020 due to the coronavirus crisis, according to a survey issued by the state's central bank on Monday.

This companies survey, conducted from mid-June through the third week of July, shows that the net balance in the overall business sector continued to decline sharply.
