DINERS at a seafood restaurant watched, stunned, as a shirtless man burst out from inside the premises, brandishing what appeared to be a sharp weapon and charging at a policeman.
This was the scene in one of several viral videos uploaded on social media on Wednesday (April 8).
It is said that the man had earlier gone on a rampage inside the restaurant, and that the incident occurred in Telok Mengkuang in Kuala Langat, Selangor.

Police said they arrested the man after he allegedly ran amok at the eatery, damaging property and vehicles nearby.
Bernama quoted Kuala Langat OCPD Supt Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi as saying that police responding to the incident at about 3.30pm on Wednesday found the suspect, a local man, armed with a meat cleaver and a cane.
"The suspect acted aggressively and brandished the weapons at police officers and patrol vehicles, posing a threat to both the authorities and the public," he said in a statement on Thursday (April 9).
He added that swift police action led to the suspect's arrest. The man was subsequently taken to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah in Klang for examination.
Supt Akmalrizal urged anyone with information on the incident to come forward to the nearest police station or contact the Kuala Langat police headquarters operations room at 03-3187 2222 to assist with the investigation.
The case is being investigated under Sections 353 and 427 of the Penal Code, as well as Section 6(1) of the Corrosive Substances, Explosives and Dangerous Weapons Act 1958.
