QuickCheck: Can applications for the STR Bujang 2026 be made via WhatsApp?

A POST has gone viral on social media claiming that eligible unmarried individuals, couples who have lost their spouses or without children and single parents can make applications for the STR (Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah) Bujang 2026 via WhatsApp.

The message also claims that payments for the RM600 cash aid under Sara (Sumbangan Asas Rahmah) can be made through the same messaging service.

Are such claims true?
