CLAIMS that government clinics are no longer accepting walk-in patients from Jan 1, 2026, are circulating on social media.
It is also claimed that appointments must be made using the MySejahtera app.
Is there any truth to this?
Verdict:

FALSE
The Health Ministry denied claims that clinics will only see patients if they have appointments.
In a statement, the ministry said although appointments are its primary method for patients, walk-in patients would still receive treatment.
The ministry said this is specifically for emergencies, senior citizens, as well as those with limited access to technology.
"Patients without an appointment will still be treated, but will need to go through an assessment (triage) process first.
"Patients with appointments will be given priority according to the designated time slot," it said.
The ministry added it was aware that not all patients are able to make appointments and walk-in services would remain to ensure every segment of society has fair and equitable access to treatment.
