In a dramatic incident, a motorcyclist was attacked by a group of thugs in five cars in Taman Sentosa, Klang, Selangor, on Saturday (March 15) night.

The confrontation reportedly unfolded late in the evening when the cars encircled the motorcyclist, leading to a violent assault.

Armed with metal rods and wooden sticks, the gang members attacked the motorcyclist, leaving him defenceless and brutally beaten.

Despite his efforts to escape, the man in a white shirt was relentlessly pursued and assaulted by the group.

The shocking event was captured on CCTV from a nearby premises and has since gone viral on social media.

Deputy Chief of the Klang Selatan District Police Headquarters, Superintendent Rahmat Ariffin Aman Shah, confirmed the occurrence of the incident, although the underlying cause is still under investigation.

"Indeed, there was a fight possibly involving gang members in Taman Sentosa on Saturday night.

"There is no full report available yet; we (the police) are still investigating the incident, and the public is advised not to speculate on the matter," he informed Majoriti.

The extent of the victim's injuries remains unconfirmed, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist with the investigation.
