In today's world, viral videos often capture the unexpected.

One such video shows a car endlessly circling a roundabout, sparking intrigue and concern; it is claimed that the incident seen in the video happened recently in Kluang, Johor.

Is this true?

Kluang OCPD Asst Comm Bahrin Mohd Noh confirmed that the incident happened, and said that the driver of the car seen in the viral video is receiving treatment for schizophrenia at Hospital Enche' Besar Hajjah Khalsom.

"At 8.20pm on Thursday (Feb 13), the police received a report regarding the incident. The vehicle was successfully stopped by police officers about 10 minutes later," he said.

Sinar Harian reported that ACP Bahrin added that the man is also receiving treatment at a clinic and had previously been treated for mental illness at Hospital Permai, Johor Bahru in 2020 and 2021.

"No accidents or injuries were reported. Investigations revealed the Axia car is owned by the man's brother," he said on Saturday.

Bahrin advised the family not to allow the man to leave the house without a family member and prohibited him from driving.

Previously, a driver was reported to have driven around the Mahkota Roundabout in Kluang hundreds of times from morning until night.

In the viral 57-second video, the car is seen making rounds with its hazard lights on.
