Recently, a video surfaced showing a white Honda City being driven recklessly and crashing into multiple vehicles in Kajang.

Allegedly, they had just assaulted a woman and were in the midst of fleeing the scene when this happened.

In a statement on Wednesday (July 31) Kajang police chief Asst Comm Naazron Abdul Yusof said that two videos of a car being driven erratically had been uploaded in social media.

According to police investigation the suspects were running away after beating a 29 year old woman with a helmet in Taman Saujana Impian.

"The incident was believed to have occurred on July 28 at around 6pm," he said, adding that two police reports were lodged following the incident.

"Two men were arrested on July 31 at around 4am within the Kajang area. The suspect, aged 25 and 26 years old, had 12 and 22 previous criminal and drug related offences previously, and has been remanded for six days to assist investigations," he said.

The police had earlier detected two viral videos related to the incident circulating on social media.

The videos depicted a white Honda City being driven recklessly, crashing into multiple vehicles in the Batu 9 Cheras area.

The vehicle, driven by a local man, was believed to have fled after assaulting a 29-year-old woman with a helmet in Taman Saujana Impian, resulting in serious injuries.

Further investigation revealed the incident occurred around 6.30pm on July 28.

The Kajang District Police Headquarters received two police reports related to the incident.

The case is being investigated under Section 279 of the Penal Code and Section 326 of the Penal Code.

On Wednesday, two videos went viral showing a car driven dangerously by a man before crashing into several other vehicles.

The video clips also showed that the car was eventually stopped by the public at the scene.
