While the police have advised people to be careful on the road and follow the speed limits, accidents have increased over the two-day festive period.

In one such accident which has since gone viral, a teacher was killed in a head-on collision in Kelantan on Wednesday (April 10). Is this true?

The woman died after her car was involved in an accident at Kampung Parit Limbat, Pasir Tumboh, Kelantan on Wednesday.

The incident recorded on CCTV from a house near the location showed the car, a Perodua Aruz veering to the opposite lane before being hit by another oncoming car.

Others in the accident are in critical condition and have been brought to a nearby hospital.

Information on the incident was uploaded by a user named Zul Fadli on the "Aruz Club Malaysia" page on Facebook on Thursday (April 11).

"Car accident, one passenger dead and others are critical," online portal Majoriti quoted Zul Fadli as saying.
