CLEANLINESS has been a main criteria for the people in deciding if they would dine in a particular eatery. Stories of restaurants with hygienic issues, including pests enjoying their meals in the food cabinets, were reported and making their rounds on the Internet occasionally. Recently, nine eateries in Kelantan were closed down due to unhygienic conditions.
