QuickCheck: Is an e-wallet service sending out SMSes with links to B40, M40 financial aid?


RECENTLY, a text message has been sent out purporting to be from Touch 'n Go eWallet, claiming that RM1,000 in B40 and M40 aid has been credited into e-wallet accounts along with a link.

It is also claimed in the SMS that recipients can check the status of their B40 or M40 aid at a link provided in the message.
