An Instagram account with the username @dghisham has cropped up on the popular social media platform, and appears to be sharing Covid-19 related updates.
However, does the @dghisham account actually belong to Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah?

The Health Ministry took to its official social media platforms to inform followers of the fake Instagram account.
"The dghisham account is fake - it is neither managed by the Health director-general, nor by the Health Ministry," it said.
It shared a list of “Former Usernames” employed by the @dghisham account on Instagram, which helps users identify whether the account is authentic or misleading.
The account's most recent username, before it was changed to @dghisham, was @kucenviral (which translates to “viral cats”).
"The Health DG's actual Instagram username is @dg_hisham," said the Health Ministry.
