Thailand to ease lockdown measures further from May 17

BANGKOK (The Nation/ANN): The second phase of easing the country's lockdown will start on May 17, Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin, spokesperson of the government's Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration, said on Thursday (May 7).

He added that the National Security Council secretary had revealed the timeline of the second phase but the government will assess the situation and people's compliance with preventive measures from May 8-12 and review related information on May 13.
