PETALING JAYA: At the snap (or click) of your fingers, you can channel the biggest and baddest dude in the Marvel universe – Thanos.
First there was the rise of Black Panther's T'challa-inspired Muslim attire, now Marvel fans can don a Thanos-inspired baju koko (male Muslim attire worn on special occasions).
Thanos is the villain in the hit movie Avengers: Infinity War.
He is big, he is purple, and he wears a blue and gold armour in his quest to obtain all six infinity stones that will give its bearer inexplicable power.
Now, you can look like Thanos dressed in a bright blue batik shirt, with purple sleeves and a gold chest and collar.
The Jakarta Post reported that an Indonesian online shop, Artlantis Store, has released a collection of baju koko inspired by the Avengers superheroes and supervillain Thanos.
Alfi Rindansyah, owner of the shop, says the items are very popular.
"The Thanos-inspired baju koko is our first product and available via pre-order. The turnover is not bad, I can get Rp5mil (RM1,414.25) to Rp10mil (RM2,828.50)," he said.
Those interested can pre-order the baju koko for Rp230,000 (RM65), and wait about two weeks to a month for delivery.
Alfi has customers from around Indonesia and abroad in countries like Malaysia and Sweden.
Prior to creating the Avengers-inspired baju koko, Alfi created attire inspired by superheroes such as Batman, Superman and Spiderman.
