KOTA BARU: The Kelantan state government has announced special financial assistance of RM1,500 for state civil servants in Grade JUSA B and below, including contract staff, involving a total allocation of RM7.13mil.

Mentri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud said the payment would be made in two phases - before Hari Raya Aidilfitri and ahead of National Day next year.

He said the assistance was a gesture of appreciation for civil servants' commitment, sacrifices and contributions towards the state's development agenda and meeting the people’s needs.

"In recognition of their dedication, sacrifices and service, the Kelantan Government is pleased to announce special financial assistance of RM1,500 for all state civil servants in Grade Utama B and below, including contract appointees.”

He announced the assistance when tabling the State Budget 2027 during the state legislative assembly sitting here on Thursday (Oct 29).
