KUALA TERENGGANU: The Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (Fama) is preparing buffer stocks of 34 agricultural commodities at 15 operational centres nationwide to ensure stable food supplies during the northeast monsoon.

Its director-general, Faisal Iswardi Ismail, said the measure is aimed at addressing potential supply disruptions in flood-prone states, particularly Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu.
