PM briefs Selangor Ruler on state development

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Thursday (Sept 10) briefed the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, on several matters, including current issues related to the state’s development.

Anwar said the matters were raised during an audience with Sultan Sharafuddin.

"I am deeply grateful to His Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj, for granting me an audience.

"During the meeting, I briefed His Royal Highness on several matters, including current issues involving Selangor’s development,” he said on his Facebook page.

The Prime Minister also prayed for Sultan Sharafuddin and the Selangor royal family to be blessed with good health, well-being and divine guidance. — Bernama
