KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof returned to attend a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday (Sept 9) after undergoing heart bypass surgery and taking medical leave to recuperate.
He conveyed his deepest appreciation and thanks to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Cabinet colleagues for their concern, prayers and support throughout my treatment.
"I am very grateful and happy to be back with my Cabinet colleagues at today’s meeting.
"May we all be blessed with good health and lasting well-being, and be able to carry out the responsibilities entrusted to us to the best of our ability,” he said.
The Petra Jaya MP underwent heart bypass surgery at IJN on Aug 12 after being admitted to the institute on July 28. He underwent a coronary angiogram the following day. - Bernama
