Temerloh cops investigating alleged mistreatment of two-year-old in nursery


KUANTAN: Police are investigating a case where a two-year-old girl who was allegedly mistreated by a babysitter at a nursery in Temerloh.

Temerloh OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Nasyim Bahron said the girl's 29-year-old mother lodged a report at around 6pm on Saturday (Sept 5).

"An investigation being conducted under Section 31(1) of the Child Act 2001," he said in a statement.

A video clip showing the child allegedly being mistreated by the nursery caretaker has also gone viral on social media, sparking widespread public reaction. – Bernama
