PKR National Congress: Government to probe Felda next on King’s decree, says Anwar

AYER KEROH: Putrajaya plans to investigate issues involving Felda after completing its investigation into alleged misappropriation involving Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH).

The move comes after His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia, told Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim that investigations into issues involving institutions owned by the people should not end with TH.

“The King told me last week that do not let it end with TH, (but) continue.

“His Majesty also asked who is in charge of Felda now. I answered, me, (so) once TH is done, uncover what happened at Felda,” Anwar said in his policy speech at the 2026 PKR National Congress on Saturday (Aug 15).

Anwar, who is also PKR president, said the government would not compromise with anyone found to have breached regulations or taken public assets.
