LOCAL influencer Kasih Iris Leona (pic) does not want to be hypocritical about her recent weight loss and has admitted to using a diabetes medication to help shed the weight, reported Kosmo!
Leona, 24, said she began the treatment after undergoing extensive medical examinations under the supervision of a doctor.
“I am aware that there have been a lot of comments from people about my recent weight loss, and I do not want to boast as though I did all of it naturally.
“I am a person who takes my health seriously,” she said on TikTok.
She said she had undergone regular thyroid, liver and heart check-ups at the hospital and was given the green light by her doctor to start treatment because she was “overweight” and had high cholesterol.
The daughter of actor Azhar Sulaiman revealed that she is not pre-diabetic but has a family history of diabetes.
As such, she decided to undergo the treatment as a preventive measure to maintain her health.
However, she discourages the casual use of the medication as a quick fix for weight loss.

The incident is said to have occurred at about 8.30pm last Tuesday at the couple’s home in Taman Melawati, after the woman confronted her husband over the messages, suspecting that he was having an affair.
An argument ensued, during which the man punched his wife several times before threatening her with a knife.
Fearing for her safety, the wife called the police.
