Form Two boy injured in alleged kerambit attack by female classmate


SHAH ALAM: A Form Two student was injured after being allegedly stabbed with a 10-centimetre kerambit by a female classmate at a school here on Aug 5.

Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Sarudin Samah confirmed the incident, saying the victim only sustained minor injuries to his arm.

"The incident involved a female student as the suspect and a male student as the victim, with both being classmates. 

"The suspect was also arrested and has since been released on police bail. In this case, there was no apparent reason or motive, and the suspect is believed to be unwell,” he said in a statement on Tuesday (Aug 11).

The case is being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means. — Bernama
