PETALING JAYA: PAS says they are willing to accept any ex-Bersatu member who wishes to join the Islamist party.
PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang said that this was in line with the party’s stance of accepting anyone interested in joining their struggle.
“Those who want to join PAS, we will accept them,” he told reporters at Masjid Rusila in Kuala Terengganu on Friday (Aug 7), Sinar Harian reported.
It was reported that Terengganu Bersatu is facing a leadership crisis after three of its top leaders abruptly announced their resignations, namely its chief Datuk Razali Idris, information chief Mohd Zawawi Ismail and treasurer Mohd Husaimi Hussin.
However, the three said they would remain as party members.
Terengganu Bersatu deputy chief Khazan Che Mat also indicated that he may step down.
