IN celebration of AS Watson's remarkable 185-year legacy of helping customers ‘Look Good, Do Good, and Feel Great’, Watsons Malaysia proudly welcomed more than 10,000 participants to the 11th edition of the Watsons Get Active Carnival at Stadium Merdeka.
Bigger and bolder than ever, the annual wellness event continues to inspire healthier and more active lifestyles, bringing together Malaysians of all ages through fitness, sports, wellness and community engagement.
The carnival reflects Watsons Malaysia’s ongoing commitment to making health and wellness accessible, enjoyable, and inclusive for everyone.
This year's edition featured 5km and 10km Fun Runs, exciting sports challenges, interactive health and beauty experiences, wellness activities and family-friendly programmes designed to encourage Malaysians to embrace healthier lifestyles and stay active.
"As we celebrate 185 years of AS Watson's global heritage and purpose-driven journey, we remain committed to empowering communities to live healthier and happier lives.
“The Watsons Get Active Carnival reflects that commitment, bringing people together through fun, engaging and accessible wellness experiences.
“At Watsons, we believe wellness goes beyond physical fitness; it is also about fostering mental well-being, stronger communities and healthier lifestyles for all," said AS Watson Group Health and Beauty Asia regional managing director and Watsons International regional exclusives director Caryn Loh.
One of this year's most anticipated highlights was Hari Sukan: Nostalgic Games, where participants stepped back in time to relive the joy of traditional childhood favourites.
It featured classics such as the Three-Legged Race, Gunny Sack Hopping, and Slalom Pole Challenge, where the programme celebrated Malaysia's shared memories and cultural heritage while encouraging active play, teamwork and connection across generations.
Adding to the excitement, participants also had the opportunity to break the Malaysia Book of Records title as individual record holders by achieving the best performance in these games.
Beyond this, participants also explored the Health and Beauty Bazaar, featuring product sampling, wellness services, health checks and advice by Watsons pharmacists, interactive brand experiences and exciting activities from participating partners.
Watsons would like to extend special thanks to KPJ Healthcare, Sports Direct and participating brands for sharing the goal of fostering healthier communities and enhancing wellness accessibility for Malaysians through this year's carnival.
