KOTA KINABALU: Police are looking for a man following an alleged act of indecency at a basketball court in Luyang on July 29.
Kota Kinabalu Acting OCPD Supt Syed Lot Syed Ab Rahman said a woman lodged a police report claiming an unknown man had approached and indecently harassed her.
"Police are gathering available CCTV footage around the area and calling for witnesses to provide information as we work to track down the suspect," Supt Syed Lot said in a statement on Monday (Aug 3).
He added that police have stepped up patrols and increased officer presence at public parks and popular spots across the district as a preventive measure to ensure public safety.
