KUALA LUMPUR: After almost 35 years in the police force, Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay calls it a day on his distinguished career.
With Sunday (July 26) marking his last day as a police officer, Ayob Khan handed over the mantle to Special Branch director Comm Datuk Seri Ibrahim Darus, who is assuming the duty of deputy IGP in an acting capacity.
The handing over ceremony, which was held at the Police Training Centre (Pulapol), was witnessed by IGP Tan Sri Mohd Khalid Ismail.
