NILAI: Bersatu will contest 24 out of 36 seats in the Negri Sembilan state election, says party president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
This will be the first election that Bersatu will contest using its own logo and not under the Perikatan Nasional banner.
Bersatu is also set to clash with Barisan Nasional and Perikatan in a number of seats.
Among the seats Bersatu will contest are Labu, Jeram Padang, Serting, Juaseh, Paroi, Ampangan, Klawang, Sikamat, Pertang, Sungai Lui, Lenggeng and Linggi.
Bersatu fielded its information chief Datuk Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz in Sikamat, which will be contested by Perikatan's Datuk Razali Abu Samah, a former Melaka deputy police chief and against Pakatan Harapan's Nor Azman Mohamad.
Other seats that Bersatu will contest include Nilai, Temiang, Seri Menanti, Senaling, Rahang, Mambau, Seremban Jaya, Kota, Bagan Pinang, Linggi, Seri Tanjung and Gemas.
