Johor polls: Muhyiddin, wife pay no heed to heavy rain to cast their ballots


MUAR: Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and his wife, Puan Sri Noorainee Abdul Rahman, cast their votes at SMK Sri Muar at about 10.30am on Saturday (July 11).

Despite the heavy rain, the couple succesfully completed the voting process before leaving the polling centre.

Muhyiddin said he and his wife had fulfilled their responsibility as citizens by casting their ballots.

"My wife and I have fulfilled our responsibility as citizens by casting our votes at SMK Sri Muar this morning despite the heavy rain," he said in his Facebook post.

Muhyiddin also thanked Election Commission personnel for carrying out their duties with dedication.

"Thank you to all election officials for carrying out your responsibilities with full dedication," he added.
