Johor polls: Bukit Kepong to see three-cornered contest


PAGOH: The Bukit Kepong state seat will see a three-cornered contest in the Johor state election after nominations closed on Saturday (June 27).

Election Commission (EC) returning officer Mohd Hisam Said announced the list of candidates at 10am following the close of the nomination process.

Pakatan Harapan's C. Subramani (Mani) will contest at the top of the ballot while Barisan Nasional's Ahmad Syar'e Yusof will be second on the list, followed by Bersatu's Datuk Dr Sahruddin Jamal, who is a former Johor mentri besar.

Supporters from Pakatan Harapan, Barisan Nasional and Perikatan Nasional gathered outside the nomination centre at the Pagoh Sports Complex to cheer on their respective candidates.
