Evaded roadblock leads to truck chase in Cheras

KUALA LUMPUR: A car that was flagged by police for suspicious activities attempted to evade the authorities, leading to a car chase.

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Khairul Anuar Khalid, in a statement, said the incident occurred early Wednesday (June 24) morning along Jalan Pandan Utama.

“At the time of the incident, a patrol car spotted a truck being driven suspiciously.

“The suspect had fled a check around Bulatan Billion and was being pursued by Cheras police. Additional assistance was called for, and several other units joined the chase.

“However, the vehicle managed to escape after making a U-turn over a road divider, entering the opposite lane before disappearing,” he said.
