PTPTN strengthens governance excellence

The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) once again achieved success when it received the Special Security Award for 2025 with a 5-Star (Excellent) rating and the Prime Security Award for 2025 during an event held in Putrajaya.

The event was officiated by Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar.

This success is a recognition of PTPTN's commitment in strengthening aspects of security, organisational governance and information management.

In the assessment involving 118 agencies, 50 agencies managed to obtain a 5 Star Rating (Excellent), while the six best agencies with the highest overall score were selected to receive the Premier Security Protection Award.

PTPTN is in the best group, thus proving the organisation's excellence in managing security aspects according to the set standards.

PTPTN chief executive Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid said, "This success is the result of the commitment, dedication and teamwork spirit of all PTPTN employees in ensuring that the security of information, assets and strategic interests of the organisation are always preserved.

“This recognition is not only a source of pride for PTPTN employees, but also a catalyst to continue to strengthen the culture of security protection and excellent governance."

He added: “Every PTPTN employee plays an important role in ensuring that the responsibilities entrusted to them can be carried out with full integrity, professionalism and high discipline, in line with the requirements and standards set by the Office of the Chief Government Security Officer (CGSO).”

This achievement reflects PTPTN’s continued commitment to strengthening a culture of security protection, practicing sound governance and ensuring compliance with the best security standards to protect the organisation’s assets, information and interests.
