PETALING JAYA: Residents of Setiawangsa will continue receiving services and support despite the parliamentary seat being vacated by its MP Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, assures Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Hannah Yeoh (pic).

“I wish to assure the residents of Setiawangsa that services under the Federal Territories Department will continue without disruption.

“I have requested Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Seri Fadlun Mak Ujud to support the Setiawangsa DBKL branch office in stepping up efforts to address local issues in the area and to ensure continued responsiveness to residents’ concerns.

“This includes allocating additional manpower during this period to strengthen these efforts,” she said in a statement yesterday.

Residents may continue seeking assistance through walk-ins, phone calls or email at the Setiawangsa DBKL branch office during operating hours, she added.
