Pakatan, Barisan leaders to meet on Negri situation, says Saifuddin

SEPANG: Leaders from Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional are set to meet on Tuesday (May 5) to discuss several issues, including the political situation in Negri Sembilan, says Pakatan secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

Saifuddin confirmed that the meeting will be held in Putrajaya following internal discussions within the coalition.

"First, we will have a PKR political bureau meeting chaired by the party president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, followed by a Pakatan Harapan presidential council meeting, also chaired by him.

"Once those are concluded, we will then proceed with a meeting between Pakatan and Barisan leaders this afternoon," he said.

Saifuddin was speaking to reporters after a working visit to Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1 on Tuesday.
