Two teens arrested for dancing on LRT tracks at Muhibbah station

KUALA LUMPUR: Two teenagers have been arrested following a dancing stunt on the train tracks at the LRT Muhibbah station.

Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Rosdi Daud said the two boys, aged 16 and 17, were arrested on April 25 after security personnel saw one of them dancing on the tracks.

He said the incident was captured on CCTV, with one of the suspects seen dancing on Platform 1 at about 11.52pm.

"Both suspects were detained by auxiliary police before they were handed over to the Bukit Jalil police station for further investigations.

"They were remanded for two days until April 26 and have since been released on police bail," he said in a statement on Monday (April 28).

Mohd Rosdi said the investigation paper was submitted to the deputy public prosecutor's office on April 28.

He said instructions were given to release the suspects as they are young offenders and prosecution could affect their future.
