TWENTY-FIVE Indian women of various ages recently participated in a pioneering artificial intelligence workshop organised by the Negeri Sembilan Wanita MIC, reported Makkal Osai.
State MIC chairman P. Supramaniam said the women’s participation was significant, as Indian women in the country are economically lagging behind other communities.
Following the shift towards AI, he said that women from the local Indian community must ensure they are not left behind.
He noted that it was possible for the women to learn the new technology and succeed despite the challenges.
The three-hour training was conducted by lecturer and researcher Prof Ir Dr Sumathi Sethupathi.
Negeri MIC Women’s chief, K. Mageswari said the session provided the women with a good foundation to use AI for their benefit.
The success of Indian families and the community here depends on the success of Indian women, she said.
