Diana Danielle: My kids come first

FOR Malaysian singer Diana Danielle, her undying love for her two children remains the centre of her life and her reason to better herself, even after divorcing her husband Farid Kamil, Kosmo! reported.

The 36-year-old shared that this was due to her growing up in a broken family which once left her questioning herself and struggling to process painful experiences.

However, she said becoming a mother to her son Muhammad and daughter Nur Aurora changed her perspective, teaching her to focus on love, gratitude and what truly matters.

She said her children’s unwavering affection and support have helped heal her past trauma, adding that they are well-behaved, kind-hearted and a constant source of joy.

“Muhammad and Aurora’s souls are full of love for their parents. They are very supportive of both me and Farid’s careers, even after our divorce.

“Every time I release a song or Farid has a new film, they are my number one supporters,” she said, adding that she was glad that her ex-husband is dedicated to co-parenting their children.

Diana also stressed that children should always come first in any marriage, expressing disappointment at the many cases of parents who neglect their parental responsibilities after divorce.

She said while she is getting to know someone new now, no one could truly replace the role of a father in her children’s lives.

> The daily also reported that a young mother of four has been left distraught after her husband was hit and killed by a drunk driver.

For Nur Nadia Abdul Majid, 32, losing her husband Amirul Hafiz Omar, 33, also left her emotionally distressed since he was the sole breadwinner.

“Even if the driver were to get the maximum 15-year jail term, it is not enough – my husband has died.

“I only started working part-time two months ago at a courier company to help him financially.

“Now, I am worried about the future of our four children,” she told the daily.

Amirul Hafiz was killed when the driver of a car crashed into his motorcycle after overtaking several vehicles in Klang.
