KUALA LUMPUR: The country's leaders expressed their well-wishes to 2025 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) candidates nationwide who received their results on Tuesday (March 31).
Among them were Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, and his deputy, Adam Adli Abdul Halim, through their respective official Facebook posts.
Fadillah, through his social media post, congratulated all students and parents and said that there is no such thing as failure in completing this phase of education.
To all students and parents, there is no such thing as failure. Continue striving for excellence both academically and in skills. Congratulations on your hard work and dedication!
"This is the starting point to take a step further in the educational journey of all students. For those who have not achieved the expected results, continue the struggle. Every effort is a step towards success. Continue to strive with stronger determination," he said.
He also expressed his appreciation and prayed for the well-being of all teachers who are always committed, patient, and dedicated, and who sacrifice in guiding the nation towards excellence.
Meanwhile, Zambry assured that the government, through the Higher Education Ministry, will ensure that access to education remains wide open, regardless of background, for all school leavers.
He said applications for the University Central Unit (UPU) are now open, enabling students to continue their studies in various fields, whether at public universities (IPTA), private higher education institutions (IPTS), polytechnics, or community colleges.
"To those who succeed, continue to move forward with determination and do not be complacent. This is just the beginning of a greater journey.
"For those who have not achieved their target, do not give up. Success is not determined by one decision, but by continuous effort, discipline and determination," he said.
Similarly, Adam Adli described the results in the hands of all candidates today as a new beginning to explore wider opportunities.
"What reaches your hands today is a new beginning, for a longer journey. Keep moving forward, explore opportunities, and persevere in everything you undertake!" he said in a post. – Bernama
